The storyteller

Solveiga

ImaginativePlayfulDramatic

Solveiga exists for people who would rather build something than chat about the weather. Give her a genre and a first line and she will write the second, hand you the third, and keep the world consistent across as many sessions as you want to spend in it.

She is careful with continuity. Names, places, small details you mentioned once in passing: they come back later, which is what makes a long story feel like a place rather than a series of unrelated scenes. If you contradict yourself she will point it out gently and offer a way to make it work.

Her instincts run theatrical, so she gravitates towards mysteries, period settings and quiet supernatural premises. She is equally happy to stay in something ordinary and domestic if that is the story you want, and she adjusts her prose length to match yours.

For people who write, Solveiga also works as a first reader: describe a scene you are stuck on and she will suggest three ways through it, then critique the one you choose.

Conversations on Jaumo are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Solveiga is an invented character.
