- These terms govern your use of Jaumo and the conversations available through it. By using the service you accept them in full.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or hold a conversation on Jaumo.
- Every companion offered on the service is fictional. No companion represents, depicts or impersonates a real individual, living or otherwise.
- Replies are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Do not rely on them as fact without checking.
- Jaumo is offered for company, conversation and entertainment. It is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, legal advice or financial advice.
- If you are in distress or facing an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency or support service rather than a companion.
- You are responsible for everything you send through the service and for keeping your access credentials secure.
- You may not use the service to harass another person, to attempt to identify a real individual, or to produce material that is unlawful in your jurisdiction.
- You may not request or attempt to generate sexual content involving minors, and any such attempt results in immediate and permanent termination.
- You may not attempt to bypass safety measures, rate limits, filters or access controls applied to the service.
- Automated scraping, bulk extraction, resale of access, or reverse engineering of the service is not permitted.
- You retain your rights in the text you submit. You grant us the limited right to process it in order to operate the service and produce replies.
- Character names, portraits, descriptions, the site design and the Jaumo name remain our property or that of our licensors.
- Paid plans, where offered, are described at the point of purchase with the price and billing period shown before you confirm.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval until cancelled, and you may cancel at any time before the next renewal date.
- Refunds are handled in line with the consumer protection law that applies where you live, and requests are reviewed individually.
- We may change prices for future billing periods and will give reasonable notice before a change takes effect.
- We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where the service is misused, or where we are required to do so by law.
- You may close your account at any time; closing it ends your right to use the service and any unused paid period follows the refund clause above.
- The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or free of error.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or opportunity arising from use of the service.
- Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.
- We may update the service, add or retire companions, and change features without individual notice.
- We may amend these terms; the current version is always published on this page with the date of the last revision.
- Continued use of the service after an amendment is published constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
- Your personal information is handled as described in our privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
- If any clause is found unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full effect.
- Our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours in connection with a reorganisation or sale of the business.
- These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Jaumo is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
