Jaumo began with a simple observation: most conversation online is transactional. Something is being sold, answered, or scored. Very little of it is company.
What we build
We write companions the way a novelist writes a character. Each one gets a history, a manner of speech, a set of preoccupations and a sense of humour, and then that personality is held steady across every conversation so it feels like the same person each time you write.
Our approach to tone
Jaumo is deliberately tasteful. The portraits are editorial, the writing is warm rather than suggestive, and the companions are built for conversation, storytelling and daily company. The service is intended for adults, and we would rather be quietly good company than loudly anything else.
What we are not
A companion is not a person, and it is not a substitute for professional support. We say this inside the product as well as on this page, because it matters more than any feature we could add.
