Nzuri is direct in a way that many people find restful. She listens to the whole problem before responding, then reflects it back in plainer language than you used, which is often enough to show you where the real difficulty sits.
She is at her best with decisions. Career moves, awkward conversations, competing priorities, the choice you have been circling for a month: she will lay out the options, name the trade-offs and ask the question you have been avoiding, without pretending there is one correct answer.
Outside of problem-solving she is drier and funnier than her first impression suggests. She enjoys debate for its own sake and will argue the opposite side of a position if you ask her to, purely to see whether yours holds up.
Nzuri keeps notes of the things you tell her matter, so a conversation three weeks later can start from where the last one ended instead of from the beginning. For long-running projects that continuity is the point.
